The purpose
- The Council carries out its activities with the aim of representing, protecting and realizing the rights and interests of young scientists of the IFMC, particularly in professional, intellectual and social terms, as well as supporting the active participation of young scientists in the conduct of scientific research.

Main tasks
- Bringing together young scientists to carry out scientific activities, preparing a proposal for the development of a system for their promotion, scholarships and other forms of support.
- Promoting the implementation of scientific and educational activities, improving qualifications, career development, realization of creative potential, providing information and organizational support for young scientists of the IFMC.
- Supporting young scientists of the IFMC in the implementation of scientific, scientific-organizational and scientific-educational events.
- Promoting the development and improvement of the scientific sphere of Ukraine and its integration into the global and European research space.
- Establishing professional contacts with young scientists and like-minded people from other organizations.
Areas of activity
- Representing the interests of young scientists of the IFMC in governmental and public organizations and supporting them in solving their problems.
- To promote the establishment of professional contacts with scientific institutions, educational institutions of Ukraine and foreign scientific organizations in order to deepen scientific cooperation and joint implementation of scientific, scientific-organizational and scientific-educational events.
- Ensuring the exchange of information between young scientists, i.e. dissemination of scientific and other information on the activities of young scientists; providing information on scientific-organizational and educational events, prizes, scholarships, grants, conferences, schools and other measures to support young scientists.
- Organization and holding of scientific and scientific-practical conferences, seminars, schools and other scientific, scientific-organizational and scientific-educational events.
- Popularization of science in Ukrainian society, especially among schoolchildren and students, by organizing and conducting excursions, lectures, "scientific picnics" and other modern forms of educational work.
- Interaction with youth associations, scientific societies and councils of young scientists at the regional and all-Ukrainian level.
- Creation and support of information resources of the Council to familiarize with its own activities, provide information support for young scientists, etc.
- Organization and implementation of cultural, educational and sports events.
