A memorandum on scientific cooperation was signed by First Deputy General Director of SSI “Institute for Single Crystals” of the NAS of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry of the SSI “Institute for Single Crystals” of the NAS of Ukraine Valentyn Chebanov, and Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics University of Gdańsk, professor Marcin Marciniak.
The partnership opens opportunities for joint experiments, internships, exchange of experience, and implementation of scientific projects, as well as strengthens interaction between the institutions on the basis of open dialogue and equal partnership.
The signing of the memorandum was preceded by working visits and internships of our researchers at University of Gdańsk. During these visits, current and prospective research areas were discussed, joint projects were planned, as well as opportunities for participation in international grant programs. Ukrainian researchers had the opportunity to become acquainted with the university’s laboratory facilities, modern equipment, and approaches to organizing research.
SSI “Institute for Single Crystals” of the NAS of Ukraine is a multidisciplinary scientific institution that develops modern areas of materials science, implements innovative technologies, and consistently expands international cooperation.
It is expected that the signed memorandum will become a practical step toward deepening cooperation, launching new joint scientific initiatives, and participation in European Union programs.
