Within the framework of the activities of the Pharmaceutical Cluster of the Kharkiv Region, a cooperation agreement was signed between the State Scientific Institution “Institute for Single Crystals” of the NAS of Ukraine and Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
The Pharmaceutical Cluster of the Kharkiv Region continues to unite the country’s scientific potential and expand the areas of interregional cooperation. A new step in this direction was the signing of a partnership agreement between SSI “Institute for Single Crystals” of the NAS of Ukraine and Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
The document was signed by the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Pharmaceutical Cluster, First Deputy General Director of SSI for Scientific Work, Director of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Valentyn Chebanov, and the Rector of the University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Orest Chemerys.

The agreement provides for the development of cooperation in the fields of science and education, including the organization of joint scientific events, conferences, round tables, scientific consulting, as well as the exchange of professional experience and knowledge among researchers. This cooperation goes beyond a formal partnership and aims to create an active scientific environment in which new ideas, technologies, and promising research initiatives can emerge.
For Ukrainian pharmaceutical science, such cooperation carries not only professional but also strategic importance. The combination of the strong research potential of State Scientific Institution “Institute for Single Crystals” and Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University creates opportunities for the development of interdisciplinary projects, the creation of new medicinal compounds, and the training of specialists capable of working at the intersection of science, medicine, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. It is especially important that such cooperation unites scientific centers from different regions of Ukraine around a common goal — the development of Ukrainian science and the pharmaceutical industry.
It is also worth noting that the person responsible on behalf of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University for maintaining contacts between the institutions and coordinating joint projects will be Honorary Doctor of SSI, Head of the Center for Molecular Design, Drug Research and Bioactive Compounds, Professor Roman Lesyk.
The Pharmaceutical Cluster of the Kharkiv Region continues to create a space for collaboration in which partnership, mutual support, and shared interests become the foundation for new scientific results and future achievements.
