The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine announces a call for applications for the NAS of Ukraine Award “For the Popularization of Science” for 2025.
The Award is granted in one of the following categories:
- Best popular science publication (or a series of publications) on scientific developments and achievements, issues of science development, as well as publications about science in periodical print or online media (journals, newspapers, websites registered as media, science sections in media outlets).
- Best science program (radio and/or television projects broadcast on air or online), or a popular science film.
- Best science outreach project of the year (museum, exhibition, or festival projects; lecture series; science cafés; special thematic online projects; social media projects; podcasts; blogging and other formats that engage the general public with scientific achievements).

Applications are accepted until 28 February 2026.

Award laureates will receive a Diploma and a monetary prize during the annual session of the General Assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The NAS of Ukraine Award “For the Popularization of Science” is presented annually to media outlets and their individual representatives, researchers, and organizers of science outreach and communication projects—for outstanding materials highlighting scientific achievements, the activities of research institutions and the NAS of Ukraine as a whole, as well as for promoting science and enhancing the prestige of the scientific profession in Ukraine.
