Services
Optical and fluorescence analysis methods
  • Ultraviolet and optical spectroscopy — measurement of electronic absorption spectra in the UV, visible, and NIR ranges using PerkinElmer Lambda 35 and Nanodrop 2000c spectrophotometers (samples from 2 µL volume).
  • Fluorescence spectroscopy — recording luminescence spectra in the UV, visible, and NIR ranges using a Varian Cary Eclipse spectrofluorimeter for solutions, solid samples, and flow cuvettes.
  • Time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy — measurement of fluorescence lifetimes using the ISS Chronos DFD instrument (modes: steady-state fluorescence and time-resolved fluorescence).
  • Fluorescence microscopy — visualization of samples using an inverted ZEISS Axiovert 5 microscope equipped with a digital Axiocam 807 mono camera (modes: bright and dark field, phase contrast, reflected light fluorescence).
Material fabrication and targeted synthesis of organic compounds
  • Fabrication of fluorescent probes, reactive fluorescent tags, fluorescence quenchers, intercalating dyes, fluorescent encoding dyes, and fluorescence lifetime markers.
  • Synthesis of protein conjugates.
  • Production of materials for defectoscopy.
  • Fabrication of liquid scintillators.
  • Targeted preparative synthesis of organic compounds* on demand in quantities ranging from several milligrams to kilograms.
Other services
  • High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) — development of separation and analysis methods for complex mixtures of organic compounds using an Agilent 1100 chromatographic system equipped with a DAD detector.
  • Sublimation (lyophilization) —drying of tissues, biopreparations, and organic substances preserving their structural integrity and bioactivity. A Christ Alpha 3-4 LSCbasic lyophilizer is used for removal of solvents.
